SS Picabo Streak x SS Midnight Hour

Split Rock Gypsy Rose, aka Gypsy is out of our favorite female SS Picabo Streak and sired by our multiple Champion SS Midnight Hour. Gypsy's Dam passed away when Gypsy was 14 weeks old; Gypsy's older sister Miss Congeniality basically adopted little Gypsy - she was unable to nurse Gypsy but they slept together, ate together and did everything together as Gypsy grew up. Gypsy is very timid and quiet with a gentle nature, solid structure and very correct.

Gypsy Rose just gave birth to a beautiful little female cria on 6-03-07 - Split Rock Dusty Rose.

Update: Gypsy Rose is an excellent mother. She is very attentive and nurturing. Not only does her own cria, Dusty Rose, sleep with her, Midnight Moonbeam (who is 10 days older than Dusty Rose) sleeps with Gypsy and runs to her for protection when he is frightened. He only goes to his own mother to nurse. We had two additional crias born in mid-June and all of the crias sleep with Gypsy on frequent occasions. She is a wonderful herd mother.
