Midnight Phoenix is the first cria sired by Kemui Yama out of our best producing female Split Rock Winona Wildfire. Phoenix is jet black and white with a well-balanced athletic frame with nice bone structure, correct conformation, a strong topline and perfectly proportioned with incredible presence. Kemui Yama is a multiple Grand Champion and is on our "keeper" herd list. Winona Wildfire is also on our "keeper" herd list. Phoenix has also earned his place on our "keeper" herd list as a replacement for his grandsires, Stage Stop Handel and Stage Stop Midnight Hour, our first two show males. Phoenix is so laid back and easy going and a complete joy to work with. He stands quietly for shearing and grooming without any fussing, kicking, spitting, etc. He accepted the show coat so easily we think he will be easy to pack train. So, we're going to start training him for performance classes.
